To all lovers

To my love
Come beloved
Let’s play again
The meadow dances
yesterday’s laughter!
Come beloved
Let’s play again
Hide and seek
Cat and mouse
Till we find
Ourselves again
Oh this is a death game!
I am so consumed by love
And you
Laughingly stoke the flames
Paying no heed to the funeral bells!
Now its ash ash ash
Ashes all about
I am gone!
The love furnace is all ablaze!
Come beloved
Let’s play again
The meadow dances
yesterday’s laughter!
Come beloved
Let’s play again
Hide and seek
Cat and mouse
Till we find
Ourselves again
Oh this is a death game!
I am so consumed by love
And you
Laughingly stoke the flames
Paying no heed to the funeral bells!
Now its ash ash ash
Ashes all about
I am gone!
The love furnace is all ablaze!

Help

This is so beautiful hummingbird. I enjoyed reading it. and your art is so full of life.
tears upwelling from behind eyes
where they lie
always in wait
leaving a tickling trail of teardrops
gentle kisses
soaking up loves liquid stream
from the deep ocean
springs up liquid drops
flowing from one body to another
then like a river
returning back to the source
we who wear
loves many faces
all masquerading one
thank you my love,
this poem has been rewitten
every moment
since our 1st meeting
And it shall be rewritten
yet again!
Loves flow is uninterrupted
flowing through Jopoa and Gra-anna
through Mother and Daughter
through Grandmother and grandson
Beings come
Beings go
vehicles
for love's unimpeded flow
When bodies have been spent
and laid to rest
their job done
leaving only love in their wake
our legacy
not in worldly accomplishments
not in books, infamy, nor empires
measured only by
the amount of love we've left
in the hearts of those we've touched
